TRAINATHON! JULY 23, 6PM - 9PM

On Thursday July 23rd, CKDU FM is holding a special event for new volunteers! Come in and become a fully-trained CKDU volunteer in one day. Training sessions include: Volunteer Orientation, Programming Rules and Regulations, Tech Training, The Power of Spoken Word, and Library Nation. Bring your own snacks!

6:00PM: Volunteer Orientation
6:30PM: Programming Rules and Regulations
7:00 PM: The Power of Spoken Word
7:30 PM: Technical Training
7:30 PM: Library Nation

If you've already completed portions of training at CKDU (i.e. you've done your Orientation and The Power of Spoken Word, but nothing else) you're welcome to come to those sessions that you haven't completed.

Please note that Technical Training will only be open to five people at a time. Technical Training is, of course, also available outside of Trainathon.

Library Nation is not a required training session, but counts as 2 hours of the 5 mandatory volunteer hours. You are also free to hang around and complete more of your volunteer hours during Trainathon.
