The Halifax Crafter's Winter Fair and CKDU campus/community radio had fun this weekend and saw hundreds of haligonians pass through the Olympic Centre on Hunter Street in Halifax's North End. Attendees were able to meet craft makers and shop from over 40 different vendors.
Hopefully you got the chance to attend the Crafter's Fair on December 5 and 6, from 11 am to 5 pm.
Not only was the craft fair full of wonderful arts and crafts: it also featured incredible music. Some of the musical acts included the fabulous DJ stylings of Gianna Lauren, DJ Maggot Brain, Tarek Al-Zand, Zack Shave and more.
On Saturday afternoon from 4 to 4:45 pm, craft enthusiasts witnessed Tribute Von Piggy (TVP), a live cover band playing songs exclusively written by Piggy, the seminal Halifax calypso ensemble.
