CKDU went off the air at 7:30 am this morning to move our transmitter, and went back on the air at 10:10 am. Our transmitter is now at it's new home on the CBC broadcast tower in Fairview. We are still broadcasting at 88.1 on the FM dial.
We are currently testing the signal from the new location. Our transmitter is at a higher elevation on this tower, which will improve reception of CKDU within our broadcast range. Our new location will also give us an improved broadcast range, extending further out beyond the HRM.
As our signal is tested today, listeners may experience short interruptions in service. We apologize for any inconvenience.
