Did you know Walter Kemp, host of Saturday Morning Musical Box, was chosen by a selection committee made up of members of Halifax Regional Council as one of the ten representative Volunteers of the Year!
The award is part of the Halifax Regional Municipality's Volunteer Recognition Program and will be presented to Walter at the Halifax Regional Municipality Volunteer Appreciation Ceremony on April 21.
Walter has been hosting his show on CKDU since 1985 and is integral part of the CKDU community! Thank you Walter for all your great radio programming and dedication to the station.
Volunteers are indeed the heart of our community!
