Wondering how to spend your summer?CKDU 88.1 is looking for youth in the HRM to participate in a summer workshop in radio and music production.
By participating in this course you can:
- Become a member of CKDU and create your own live broadcast
- Learn the basics of do-it-yourself recording
- Meet with local artists and professionals and learn about the independent media industry in your community
- Work with professional equipment and visit local studios
- Produce a documentary on the topic of your choice to go on the air and web!
Sunshine, music, and radio- what a better way to enjoy the summertime!
This course is directed to those largely in high school.
