Here are some of the things we're excited for:
Thinking of taking the Ferry?
Well Nocturne & CKDU have made your trip more enjoyable in light of the night's festivities.
Plan your trip by the performance schedule below
Dusty Keleher 6:15-7:12pm
Mufaro Chakabuda 7:15-8:12pm
Halifax Uke Gang 8:15-9:12pm
Andrew McKelvie Trio 9:15-10:12pm
Smokin' Contra Band 10:15-11:42pm
or you could always just stay on the Ferry all night and enjoy the musical ride!
There is so much going on, 5 hours doesn't seem like enough time to catch it all! Make sure you do head down to the Public Gardens to see the Anchor Project, "A Year in the Making". The interactive experience you will find here includes the recreation of Freshwater Brook by Eleanor King. With radios placed all over the garden, King gives the garden stroller the sense of the brook that once ran through this city.
The strategically placed radios will be tuned to 88.1FM- of course! So if you can't make it to the public gardens just make sure to be tuned in to CKDU to hear the Freshwater Brook.
