Homelessness Radio Marathon

The 2014 Homelessness Marathon is returning to your local streets and airwaves on Wednesday, February 26, 2014. This national broadcast and community event involves campus and community radio stations across Canada dedicating programming to a variety of themes around homelessness.

CKDU will be participating yet again this year by contributing to the national programming. The purpose is to highlight local issues, invite a various of speakers to the panel and expose local talent.

If you would like to be part of the planning committee for marathon here in Halifax join us in the station lobby on Wednesday, January 8 at 5:30pm. We'll talk about what we want to do with our hour of programming, what kind of coinciding event we would like to hold and how to involve the community.
