Surf on over to news.ckdu.ca for a revamped and revitalized web blog for Operation Wake Up!, the morning show brought to you by the CKDU news collective. Operation Wake Up! airs Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 9 AM and features news, analysis, documentaries, reports, and music to help you get out of bed! We created the blog with wordpress, and any visitor can leave comments on our web blog. You don't need to be an HTML programmer to use the CKDU news blog, anyone can sign up and add comments.
Some episodes of OWU will be archived on our web blog. Every Friday focuses on Aboriginal issues, and the last Tuesday of every month focuses on Atlantica, the regional free trade deal currently on the table for Atlantic Canada and New England. Operation Wake Up! will have a week of Pride programming during Halifax's Pride Week, July 21 to 25, and tune in on Saturday, July 26th from 1:30 to 4:30 PM for a special live broadcast of the parade from Venus Envy on Barrington Street! Or come down to the parade and say Hi! to our listeners.
